What is an artform in life?
Anything that anyone does, has an artform applied. Think of a basketball player perfectly aligning a jumpshot, or a surgeon meticulously severing an artery. Anything that a person practices, or does repitively will develop an artistic internalization of that skill. In the same way that a painter may handle a brush or that a musician strums a guitar, an archer may strike a target or an engineer may design an engine. Art is in and around all of us.
Art as a concept
At the core, common concepts exist among all artforms!
Some include:
- Endless Repetition
- Muscle Memory
- Organic Creativity
- Relative Passion
- And many more...
